Tested Recipe Adapted from Hoe Yee’s Hawker Secret Recipes 4

Prawn with Cabbage & Glass Noodle


100g shelled prawns

50g glass noodle (soaked)

80g big onion (shredded)

200g cabbage (shredded)

1 tsp chopped garlic

250ml water


1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tsp sugar

½ tsp pepper

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil in wok, add in garlic, and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant. Put in prawns, stir-fry briefly.
  2. Add in onion, cabbage and seasoning, stir-fry until combined. Add in water, bring to boil over high heat.
  3. Covered, reduce to medium heat, simmer for 8 minutes, stir in glass noodle, cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
