Tested Recipe with Slight Adjustment Adapted from Alan Ooi
220g banana (pisang berangan)
165g caster sugar
4 Grade B eggs
10g cake emulsifier / ovalette (omitted)
I’ve added 1 tsp of vanilla extract
250g super fine flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
120ml fresh milk
100ml corn oil
- Blend ingredients A till well incorporated. Add in ingredients B and whisk for 5-6 minutes till thick.
- Fold in ingredients C and D, and beat till well combined. Blend in ingredients E, and mix well.
- Pour batter into a lined and greased rectangle baking tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 30-40 minutes. I’ve baked mine with addition of 30 minutes at 160C.
