Tested Recipe Adapted from Eric Low Makan Mushrooms
Ingredients A: (makes 4 portions)
200g fresh shiitake mushrooms
Some plain flour
200ml tempura batter
Ingredients B: (Wasabi Mayo)
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp wasabi paste
1 tsp condensed milk
- Combine ingredients B together and keep it chilled in the fridge until ready to use.
- Rinse and trim away the stalks of the shiitake mushrooms.
- Dust mushrooms with plain flour and dip into tempura batter, deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve with wasabi mayo.
