150g roast pork knuckle meat (cut into strips)
1 medium fuji apple (cored and sliced and toss with 2 tbsp of lemon juice)
2 slices of cheddar cheese
4 slices Jewish rye bread
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp honey
Some lettuce leaves
- In a small bowl, add in the Dijon mustard and honey. Stir to combine.
- Spread the mixture onto 4 slices of Jewish rye bread.
- To assemble: arrange 1 piece of Jewish rye bread spread side up, top with 1 piece of lettuce leaves, follow by ¼ portion of the fuji apple slices, 1 slice cheddar cheese, ½ portion of the roast pork knuckle meat, ¼ portion of the fuji apple slices, 1 piece of lettuce leaves, top with 1 pieces of Jewish rye bread spread side down to make a sandwich.
- Repeat the same for the remaining ingredients. Serve.
