Tossed Hock Chew Noodle with Shrimps & Tau Miu

Ingredients:

2 nos x 65g dried hock chew noodles

200g medium shrimps (shelled and deveined)

1 tsp potato starch

¼ tsp salt

90g tau miu

2 cloves garlic (peeled and chopped)

2 tbsp cooking oil

Seasonings:

¼ tsp sugar

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp ground white pepper

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Bring some water to a boil. Add in dried hock chew noodles, cook until al-dente. Remove, drained and transfer into a mixing bowl.
  2. Heat up a pan with 2 tbsp of cooking oil, saute the chopped garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add in shrimps, saute until turn pink. Remove and add into the mixing bowl together with the noodles.
  4. Add in the tau miu and seasonings, constantly stirring on high heat until tender crisp. Remove and add into the mixing bowl together with the noodles and shrimps.
  5. Toss well, dish out to a serving bowl. Serve.
