Black Pepper Salmon

Tested Recipe with Slight Adjustment Adapted from Li Fang Lee’s 4 Flavours

Black Pepper Salmon

Ingredients:

1 pc x 366g boneless salmon fillet (cut into half lengthwise)

1 stalk coriander (sectioned)

2 tbsp cooking oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

Marinade:

½ tsp coarsely ground black pepper

½ tsp sesame oil

Seasonings: (mixed well)

2 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine

½ tsp coarsely ground black pepper

1 tbsp water

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Marinate the salmon fillet with the marinade ingredients and set aside.
  2. Heat up a non-stick skillet with 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Pan-fry the marinated salmon until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Add in seasonings and bring to a boil. Let the salmon absorb some of the sauce.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and coriander, dish out and serve.
