Stir-Fried Okra


235g okra (trimmed both ends and sectioned)

2 shallots (peeled and sliced)

2 cloves garlic (peeled and sliced)

4 dried chillies (cut into half and deseeded)

2 tbsp cooking oil

Seasonings: (mixed well)

1 tsp chicken seasoning powder

½ tsp sugar

¼ tsp salt

¼ cup water

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Heat up a non-stick skillet with 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Saute the sliced shallots and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add in dried chillies, saute until fragrant.
  3. Add in okra and seasonings, constantly stirring until the okra become tender crisp.
  4. Dish out and serve.
