Spiced Walnuts

Tested Recipe with Slight Adjustment Adapted from Reader’s Digest “Eat Well Stay Well”

Spiced Walnuts



2 cups walnut halves

1 tbsp cooking oil

3 tbsp caster sugar

½ tsp salt

½ tsp cayenne

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Heat up a non-stick skillet with 1 tbsp of cooking oil on low heat.
  2. Add in walnut halves, tossing to coat.
  3. Add in caster sugar, salt and cayenne. Cook and stirring constantly, until nuts are well coated and sugar has caramelized.
  4. Dish out and serve.
