½ chicken (cut into pieces)
1 pc corn (cut into chunks)
220g cabbage (cut into pieces)
1 carrot (peeled and cut into chunks)
150g fresh shiitake mushroom (separate the stem and caps)
1 tsp white peppercorn (crushed)
1 tsp salt
- Add 2500ml of water into a pot and bring to a boil.
- Add in chicken pieces, corn, carrot, shiitake mushroom stems and crushed white peppercorn. Bring to a boil again.
- Turn heat to low and continue to simmer for 1 hour.
- Add in cabbage and shiitake mushroom caps. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt.
- Dish out and serve.
