1 no x 580g hairy gourd (peeled and cut into chunks)
52g dried chestnut (soaked overnight and use a toothpick to remove the membrane)
32g dried mushroom
1 carrot (peeled and cut into chunks)
40g groundnuts (soaked overnight)
2 slices young ginger
1 tsp salt
- Add 2500ml of water into a pot. Bring to a boil.
- Add in hairy gourd, chestnut, mushroom, carrot, groundnuts and young ginger. Bring to a boil again.
- Turn heat to low and continue to simmer for 1 hour.
- Season with salt.
- Dish out and serve.
