Tested Recipe with Slight Adjustment Adapted from Plilip Yoong’s Pasar Malam Delights
150g wheat berries
3 pieces pandan leaf
100ml coconut milk
25g gula Melaka
1 ½ tbsp all-purpose flour mixed with 2 ½ tbsp water for thickening
- Put wheat berries, pandan leaf and water into a pot and bring to boil at high heat.
- Lower the heat and simmer until the wheat berries are very tender.
- Add in sugar, coconut milk and cook until the sugar has dissolved.
- Thicken with all-purpose flour solution.
- Dish and serve.
