Stir-Fried Meat Slices with Shredded Ginger

Tested Recipe Adapted from Madam Wong’s Confinement Dishes

Ingredients:

200g lean pork (cut into slices)

40g old ginger (shredded)

50g big onion (shredded)

Marinade:

½ tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp glutinous rice wine

¼ tsp ground white pepper

1 tsp corn flour

1 tsp sesame oil

Seasonings:

3 tbsp glutinous rice wine

½ tbsp light soy sauce

½ tsp sugar

½ tsp dark soy sauce

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Mix meat slices with marinade and set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat up 2 tbsp of sesame oil in a wok and stir-fry shredded ginger till golden brown.
  3. Add in onion and stir-fry till soft. Add in marinated meat slices and stir-fry till the meat turns pale.
  4. Add in seasonings and stir-fry for another 3 minutes till cooked.
