Muguk (Korean Radish Soup)



236g white radish (sliced)

120g beef tenderloin (sliced)

2 stalk spring onion (sectioned)

1 tsp chopped garlic

6 cups water


1 tbsp soup soy sauce

1 tsp chopped garlic

1 tsp extra virgin sesame oil

¼ tsp ground white pepper


1 tbsp soup soy sauce

½ tsp salt

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Marinate the beef slices with marinade ingredients and set aside.
  2. Heat up a medium pot, add in marinated beef, saute until no longer pink.
  3. Add in 6 cups of water. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add in white radish slices. Bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and continue to simmer until the white radish become translucent.
  5. Add in spring onion, chopped garlic and seasonings. Bring to a boil and turn off heat.
  6. Dish out and serve.
