Thor Tau Th’ng (Sweet Peanut Soup)

Tested Recipe with Slight Adjustment Adapted from Ricky Ng’s Nyonya Desserts & Snacks




350g skinned peanut

2500ml water

180g sugar

5 pcs pandan leaves (knotted together)

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Soak peanuts for 3 hours and drain.
  2. Bring water to boil, add in peanuts and pandan leaves, simmer over low heat for 2 hours till peanuts are soft.
  3. Mix in sugar and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve.
