Steamed Tofu with Century Egg & Meat Floss

Tested Recipe with Slight Adjustment Adapted from Agnes Chang



1 box x 300g silken tofu

2 century eggs (shelled and cut into small pieces)

2 tbsp chicken meat floss

1 tbsp chopped spring onion

1 tbsp fried crispy shallots

Seasoning sauce (mixed):

1 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce

1 tsp chicken seasoning powder

1 tsp extra virgin sesame oil

½ tsp caster sugar

1 tbsp boiling water


Some cilantro leaves

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Remove tofu from the box and carefully invert on a steaming plate.
  2. Steam at preheated steamer for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the excess water.
  3. Put century eggs pieces on top of tofu, sprinkle mean floss followed by spring onion and fried crispy shallots.
  4. Pour in seasoning sauce and garnish with some cilantro leaves.
  5. Serve as an appetizer.
