200g king oyster mushroom (cut into ¼-inch slices lengthwise)
1 tsp grated young ginger
1 tsp grated garlic
1 tbsp Kikkoman soy sauce
1 tbsp sake
1 tbsp mirin
1 tsp caster sugar
1 tbsp extra virgin sesame oil
1 tbsp chopped spring onion
1 tsp toasted white sesame seeds
- Marinate the king oyster mushroom with the marinade ingredients and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat up a non-stick skillet. Add in the marinated king oyster mushroom and continue to saute until the mushroom absorb most of the sauce.
- Dish out to a serving platter, garnish with chopped spring onion and toasted white sesame seeds.
- Serve with rice.
