Sauteed Okra with Tuna Flakes


250g okra (trimmed both ends and slice into half diagonally)

1 can tuna flakes in oil (drained)

1 red onion (cut into wedges)

2 small tomatoes (cut into wedges)

1 red chilli (seeded and cut into wedges)

2 tbsp cooking oil

¼ cup water


½ tsp sugar

¼ tsp salt

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Heat up a wok with 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Saute the red onion until fragrant.
  2. Add in okra, tomatoes, red chillies, water and seasonings. Stir to combine and continue to simmer until okra become tender crisp.
  3. Add in tuna flakes. Stir to combine.
  4. Dish out and serve.
