Pork Ribs Soup with Potato, Carrot & Tomato


750g pork ribs (chop into pieces)

4 medium potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)

1 carrot (peeled and cut into chunks)

6 small tomatoes (cut into wedges)

1 red onion (cut into wedges)

½ tsp white peppercorn (crushed)

2500ml water


2 tsp salt


1 stalk spring onion (chopped)

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Add 2500ml of water into a pot and bring to a boil. Add in pork ribs and crushed white peppercorn. Turn heat to low and continue to simmer for 1 hour.
  2. Add in potato, carrot, tomato and red onion. Continue to simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Season with salt.
  4. Dish out, garnish with chopped spring onion and serve.
