Tested Recipe Adapted from Masa
220g ground beef
Adequate salt & black pepper
½ tsp chili powder
1 tbsp potato starch
½ no red bell pepper (cut into bite-sized)
½ no yellow bell pepper (cut into bite-sized)
6 pcs okra (trimmed the top)
¼ no red onion (sliced)
Some toasted white sesame
Some coriander for garnishing
Sauce:
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp sake
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp sesame oil
2 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp potato starch
Preparation Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, marinate the ground beef with salt, black pepper, chili powder and potato starch. Mix well. Set aside.
2. In a small bowl, add in all the sauce ingredients. Stir well and set aside.
3. Heat up a pan on medium heat, add some oil and stir-fry the bell peppers, okra and onion for a while, season with salt and black pepper. Dish out and set aside.
4. Using the same pan, add on the ground beef, press it a little and pan-fried beef until golden brown and divide into a few big pieces. Add on the stir-fry vegetables prepared in step 3 and also the sauce ingredients prepared in step 2, stir well, sprinkle with some toasted white sesame. Dish out and serve with steamed rice.
